MIMI is as sweet as guayaba, but sour as a pickle. She has judgemental eyes, deep wrinkles in her hands, and her hair is as white and fluffy as merengue. She is a shady lady riddled with complejo, you know she hates everything, but somehow still loves you. You can always count on her to fill you in on the latest chisme from el barrio, but speaks in hyperbole and classic catch phrases. Que Dios te Bendiga is her favorite tagline and she actually hasn’t even been to church in about 45 years. She will hand wash and hang dry all her laundry, but she’s too lazy to make espumita for your cafecito. We complain about Mimi, but we love Mimi.
